What Will Happen in 2012

I have often joked that the reason the Mayan calendar stops in 2012 is because the Mayans got to about there before they realized that we’d have the technology to go on from there our selves and they were just plain sick and tired of doing it for us – so they gave up. This joke is often met with horrified and/or uncomprehending stares from new agers.

So here, unadulterated is a psychic mediums view of what 2012 will hold. 2012. Wow… hasn’t it been all the hubub. In 3 years, will the world end, will the heavens fall, will Christians be whisked away? No. That said, prophesy in the Bible and otherwise, speaks of a catastrophic period of time before the destruction of the planet. sensitive people are starting to feel a sense of unease regarding the growing tension in the air that seems bigger than general mood or the worsening financial crisis. Spiritual and prophetic theories are beginning to grow and take form as we begin to look for explanations and some sense of guidance for what we’re in for. What does all of that mean?

Really, the long and short of it all is that we are, right now, in 2009 in a place that has been precipitated by the preceding days, weeks, months, years and centuries. We can expect an appropriate effect for all of the things we’ve caused.

The bigger catastrophic picture has been inadvertently orchestrated by the smaller schemes, political agendas, environmental mishaps and lack of foresight of those years. Wars, anger between countries, money hunger, human rights violations… they build a festering, bubbling violent situation. We can reasonably expect that in the next four years, we will see more of the same, escalating to the point where even we, in America, a relatively safe, insulated country will feel less and less safe and even be in danger of war on our soil.

Our environment is in danger, something that political agenda caused the higher ups to ignore and deny. Our ice is melting, out oceans are expanding and our temperatures are rising causing more frequent tropical storms, hurricanes and tornados. Shifting weight and proportions cause more frequent earthquakes, causing sunamis and other natural disasters. It’s all simply cause and effect.

The bigger spiritual picture is the result of years and centuries of questioning further and further the wisdom, power and advice of other people. Religion dominated earlier centuries because people needed to understand what was beyond them in some way. From the very beginning, people described astronomical events as myths of gods and angels. Religion provided a convenient explanation for everything. We are seeing more and more religious freedom and therefore more and more spiritual growth outside of the confines of what was considered acceptable in years past.

On our own soil, I don’t believe that it’s any coincidence that Obama was elected to president in this era of change. His perspectives and goals are fresh, new and different. He is, himself, personally as well as politically, a catalyst for change. He is a man of integrity that seeks truth and honesty, as much as a political leader can. I do think, however, that in seeking and enforcing honesty that he will force formerly hidden agendas to the surface and their urgency will become greater. He will be unwilling to submit to unfair or lopsided political agendas and demands in order to avoid conflict.

Could there have been divine intervention in these situations? Some sort of fate or destiny? Sure. I can’t prove otherwise. But I am sure that divine intervention or not, come 2012, there will be no flesh and blood divine hand reach down from the sky or chariots or horns or flesh and blood angels. These symbols will be represented in the effect of everything that we, as mankind, set into motion long before we realized what the likely outcome would be. It’s that simple.
