This Week’s Events – bottle incense burners, egg white and smoke billit readings & meditation

Crafting Bottle Incense burners - Saturday 8/9 4:30-6:30
Learn to make beautiful broken glass incense burners out of wine bottles.  (like the ones I use around the house!)

Learned controlled glass breaking!  Your bottle can be any color, any finish and have any decorations you’d like.  Work with metal finishes, ceramic paints, glass paints, beads, ribbon and more.

Enjoy a cup of coffee, a glass of wine and great fun!

Meditation with Penny – Sunday 8/10 1PM-3PM
During meditation, if you want to be touched by Spirit, rest, receive an answer to a question or travel the universe, you can and you will. There is no limit of what you can see, hear or feel. By using soft lights, music and mild aromas an atmosphere is created in which you can learn and practice meditation. Join us in growing, learning and experiencing joy!

Awakenings – FREE! – Mon 8/11 6:30-8:30
This is a monthly support group for ‘awake’ people.  An ‘awake’ person would be someone who is very intuitive, who is usually right AND ten steps ahead of the people around them.     They usually have a hard time fitting in with others despite their seemingly ‘normal’ appearance and lifestyle because they usually feel very fundamentally different than the people around them.  Sometimes they feel a little alien or even monsterous inside.  90% of people around them seem ’stupid’ or just ‘dont get it’.  (This is NOT an ‘otherkin’ group.)

Being ‘awake’ in a mundane world can be very difficult.  It’s hard to work a regular job.  it’s tough to make really close friends.  You are likely to struggle with loneliness, depression or anxiety.  Awake people tend to enjoy being a bit hermitish.  People who ‘get you’ or who see you on your level are few and far between.

This group is a group of ‘awake’ people who get together to enjoy eye to eye conversation.  We wind up looking forward to this group as a much needed release or ‘let your hair down’ time every month.

Smoke Billets, Egg White Readings and Symbolism – Wed 8/13  6:30-8:30
Smoke billets an egg white readings are old forms of fortunetelling that are couched in deep symbolism. Egg white readings involve dropping egg whites into water and reading the shapes they create. Smoke billits are designs on paper made by smoke.
This class is ALWAYS a really fun hands on class!
We will explore these two forms of divination along with how to decipher the myriad of symbols.
