I often give this exercise out to clients and students. It is great for awake people, anxiety attacks or generally getting some much needed peace and quiet. I created it for myself several years ago and its great for someone who is very awake and sensitive to energetic exchanges. Constant energetic exchange with no break causes anxiety, burnout, adhd type symptoms and depression among other things.
Sit or lie down and close your eyes. Use energy from the air, environment or universe around you to pull together an oval shell all the way around you. If you are unable or unsure of energy work, you can imagine that this is happening but ideally, you ultimately want to actually be doing the energy work behind the visualization.
The shell can be thin at first but start to build it up in thickness with blue ice. The shell should be pretty close in to you. Enough room for you and your aura but no extra room. Make it cozy on the inside if need be but the outside should be thick blue ice. Keep thickening and solidifying until its 4-6 inches thick. Focus on everything behind you to make sure that you dont miss any spots.
Know that this ice inhibits any energy flow in or out along energy ties. Energy cannot be exchanged either as prompted by you or as prompted by someone with whom you have a tie while the egg is in place.
Willfully instruct yourself to pull inside the egg anything that is part of you and to push out anything that is not part of you. This might take a few moments as you recall any parts of yourself that have been invested in other people, places or things and sort out of yourself any pieces of other people and situations that do not belong. This part is the quieting part. You should feel relief from a lot of pressure or stress originating from other people and situations. If your mind wanders outside the egg, pull it back in and remind yourself that you are here and all of you is here and nothing else is here and you have nowhere to be other than here.
Pointers: It must be an oval, not a sphere. A sphere is too roomy. Blue ice is an almost natural subconscious defensive feel and would be easier to use for this purpose than say, generic blue light. If you are in danger, I suppose a red fire egg would work nicely. This is an excellent exercise right before bed to keep yourself from wandering about and to actually get a good nights sleep. Its great in really bewildering or stressful situations.
The more you do it, the quicker it gets. Really, you are training yourself to turn it off. The feeling of quiet, calm and peace you get when it is properly erected is what youre going for – not a perfect blue egg. So once youve done it a few times and your mind can grab that feeling of peace, you should be able to recall that feeling and use it to turn it off without the egg exercise.
When youre ready to turn it back on, you can see the blue egg shattering or melting away. Be cautious though of leaving it up constantly if you are not accustomed to going about your daily life without all of that information streaming in. It can feel very confusing and almost more bewildering to have it all streaming in all the time. Its almost like suddenly going blind. If your intent is to be shielded more time than not, phase it in.
