Spirituality Kiss – Keep it Simple Stupid
There are as many spiritual paths as there are people in the world who have ever been, are or will ever be. There are also as many gimics as there are spiritual paths. 
The reality is that every spiritual path dresses up the very same truth in different clothing. Some outfits work for some people and some for others. It’s the gimics that keep people looking for the next best thing.
Sometimes a person legitimately wants to add something to their personal path and so they look into healing or self improvement or making their intuition stronger. These are legitimate pursuits that there are legitimate methods for. That said, there are also legitimate frauds and legitimately ridiculous claims and frou-frou filled classes of nothing out there too.
In my own practice, I have found that people are attracted to the frou frou. They want something to look very mystical to validate why they haven’t been able to do it themselves. They want someone to be able to point out what they have been doing wrong so that they can now effortlessly do it right.
I’ve lost some clients that way. I don’t read Mystical Angel Oracle cards. I don’t give complicated explanations filled with metaphysical language. I never say that I have any special gift or talent that every other person doesn’t have. Those things are trappings that only serve to obfuscate the truth. The truth is that every question has a very simple answer. It just isn’t always easy to look at it.
Here’s a Good Rule of Thumb : If it is elaborate or complicated, there is a much simpler approach and all of the trappings can be safely removed.
Someone once told me that any exercise or method that includes a lot of words and motions and rigmarole isn’t worth a whole lot and I’ve found a lot of truth in that. Spirituality is simple. It’s a relationship with your spirit. It’s your spirit, it’s your relationship.
So, without further ado, here is the instant recipe for success. Fulfill your psychic destiny, heal the sick, be perfect!
Ask.
Listen.
Be open to perspective.
To thine own self be true.
That’s really it. Note the obvious lack of crystals, equipment, elaborate hand motions, special prayers, magickal words or elitism. Ask the question to yourself. Instantly, the answer will come. Be willing to listen, even if it’s not what you expect or want to hear. Express the need to yourself. Listen to your instructions. Follow them to grasp even the most esoteric of truths or to achieve the most impossible of tasks. Believe and follow yourself to your own personal truth no matter how simple it seems or no matter how difficult the path.
