Developing Spirituality
Each class is a mixture of lecture and open discussion, encouraging students to explore with one another, to gain perspective and discover new ideas. In workshops throughout the series, we will do exercises, journeys and hands on work together, all designed to push the participant past their existing barriers into new perspectives.
We will use knowledge from a variety of existing belief systems and world religions to give us an experiential foundation from which to feel confident in developing our own beliefs, practices and knowledge base.
Each class includes homework for the participant to do on their own time that allows them to grow their own insight and understanding. Those that stay for the series will gain a new understanding of themselves and their spiritual being, developing a strong relationship with their own spirit.
This class series is not religion specific, interfaith, non-denominational and no specific spiritual beliefs, dogma or rules will be enforced. Followers of any path or religion are welcome and mutual respect and tolerance of all views of all participants is required. Participants may join for only one class or experience the entire series.
